this is gaurav vashist ur 3rd year senior from cse..first of all kudos to all first year guys who r taking care of this site.its really nice to see such enthusiasm and responsibility 2wards the college.now this is my first post in this forum and i would like to keep u updated with watever is happening on the placement front,all our encounters nd victories with the corporates will be notified to you coz this is one subject every student is interested in.
Frens at this very moment companies like CSC ,IBM,FLEXTRONICS(earlier hughes software),WIPRO ,TCS ,PEROT,L&t infotech etc are interested in coming to the college.pay package ranging from 2.04 lacs per anum to 3.4 lac per annum,but the point to be taken into consideration is that all these 7 or 8 companies are coming for software only,so all u guys keep ur fundas of programming languages strong,try learning the object oriented concepts.dont ignore the programming side even if u r not in cse coz no matter what branch u belong to u r goin to end up in software only,(hope i 'm wrong and by the time u r in final year core companies come for their respective branches) but still lookin at da present get ur programming fundas polished.
another thing dont waste the time in blaming the system ,dont get depressed by the existing conditions,just show the strength of ur character and get the best out of urself.set the standards for urself and try achieving them.
